Leaving for the beach on Friday! It would be nice if it were closer to Morganton, but lifes a beach.
This should be a FUN-draiseing event to participate in, if there's room? Better check with Jay Pendley for all the details, (828) 443-4954. He is a really nice guy and I know he is doing the best he can to make sure everyone has a good time!

A crue of us Hickraw went to their shindig on Sat have they canceled it due to weather. I will n't discuss how LAME this is since they seemed to play anyway. Anyway the Hickraws played a money round. Ron and Jimi split the front
I won the back and Jimi and I tied for overall. They are rescheduling for April 12th which happens to be Hickory Hop so I'll probably be drinking some FINE brews instead.
Oh yeah Got an ACE on one of the back holes which was 350. I believe that is my longest ace. During a round on Friday. Thanks for paying R and R.

Bummer to hear about the cancelation, does sound weird.
BEER? Huh? What?
How goes the Hickory Hop Festival?
Wendy and I just picked up some supplies for a couple O batches of home brew.
Ain't life grand.

We haven't brewed in about 6 years, but before that I was pretty into it. We had a kegging system and made some mighty fine and tasty homebrews!! One of the stranges ones was a honey chamomile wheat that would knock your hops off. Looking forward to it!

Why of course. Any time you have a bunch of people smiling and having a good time, the cops want to find out what their problem is.
The Hickory Hops festival is more of a controled beer appreciation social, like a wine fest. It's not a get wasted and act like an idiot and drive drunk event like any nascar, college football game, or even richy golf tournament across the country. Funny, the Pigs never bother those kind. I guess that's why they are fun to go it.
Drink responsibly.

Yeah the ones in Raleigh don't seem to mind. I'm been caught drinking 3 times now. First time he told us just to poor it out (ALE officer) and the other 2 they said something along the lines of keep the music down and that they have better things to do. Those were just regular cops.
