Fontana Village Resort, DISConcepts, Innova Disc Golf, and Disc Golf United present the Fontana Flying Disc Festival (3FD). The inaugural FONTANA FLYING DISC FESTIVAL weekend will be a 1 day 2 round PDGA “C” tier event on Saturday March 22nd and a 1 day Disc Golf United handicapped 1 round tournament on Sunday March 23rd. In addition to the disc golf tournament there will be countless family activities, an extreme DISTANCE competition, a putt putt tournament (on a sweet onsite course), a mini-disc golf course, LIVE BAND, and FREE BEER in the ballroom! From the company that brought you the Tupelo Bay Open, look for the course that Owner Pat Farrell of DISConcepts claims to be the BEST disc golf course he has ever been involved with. Unbelievable beauty in the Great Smokey Mountains, this challenging mountain course features booming drives, tricky greens, loads of elevation, and well maintained fairways. Hands down the BEST onsite amenities I have ever experienced at a resort that features a world class course. Lodge rooms, cabins, houses, golf carts, restaurant, bar, boats, mini golf, small store……

Over the last year DISConcepts has designed and install a par 60 mountain disc golf course at Fontana Village Resort. The staff is very supportative of the sport and is allowing us to have full use of the resort during the 3FD weekend. With this being the Easter weekend it will be very important for players and their families to understand that this weekend is a great way to get to the Great Smokey Mountains with your family and play some disc golf, but have plenty of time to do activities with your family as well. Heck, we will also have many different activities for your family to do while you are playing and partying. Check out the Fontana website to learn more about the resort and look for updates in the next week. When it comes down to it this is planned to be a BIG disc golf party, with a relaxed vibe, and loads of fun. What else are you going to do while waiting for Easter? Lets Golf! Bring your club, bring your family, and bring your friends. You will not be disappointed! We have the course, the amenities, and the fun; NOW we need you!

If it wasn't Easter weekend I might consider doing it.

Aye, but I'm catholic. Would be a tough sell to my parents.

It's only on Sat. so your family can have their Holy day on Sunday. You'll just miss the egg hunt

The Houseboats seem nice. Anyone else want to go?
