What do yall think about making scorecards with hole handicaps on it. I just think it was be interesting to know which hole plays the easiest and which holes play the hardest. If people would start keeping there honest scores and e-mailing them to me or posting them on here I could start making a database. On the scorecard I will just put Hole handicap is based on an assortment of scores on all pin positions.

I would say that most of your figures are too high

Here are the results form the 2006 Classic. Note that the handicap (rank) may change with pin position. We have 3 new poistions since then. That is, in the shorts, 6 is easiest; in the longs, 14 is the easiest. Unfortunately, this message board editor allows me to line up the columns in edit mode, then compresses out the spaces when posted.
Full, easily readible, excel sreadsheet available for email upon request.

Is there an easy way to post a spreadsheet?

Yeah if you e-mail me the file I should be able to put it on the website. If anyone sees Freddy and Richard sometime soon could they ask them to start keeping there scores. that way we can incorporate some of the newer pin positions into the hole averages as well.

Also once we decide which holes to play each round I will make round specific score scards. Might see if I can get them printed on some nice paper with a picture on the back similar to Asheville.

All scores I get by e-mail or in person will now be added anonymously to the website. So if anyone wants to compare how they are playing against others they can. Once I get a scorecard template done I will also put a link for it on the course page.

http://hickorydiscgolf.com/course.html

I am keeping a database on my computer that in addition to the scores list the hole position that the score was taken on. It is just to much to put on the site.

How was #16 the easiest in the shorts? Doesn't it seem like #6 should have a lower avg score?

Thats why I'm not depending on those numbers solely. So far I have 4 rounds down. I can say today is the first time I have ever birdied hole 7 and hole 11 in the same day, even if 11 is short now. :)

Mistype (now corrected), # 6 short is the easiest.
The classic numbers may be better than you think. Shotgun starts remove the bias resulting from fresh and relaxed starts on the front nine verses the pressure and fatigue on the back.
