wow, got a chance to stay in one of the Yurts at Vance Toe River Lodge this past weekend. The Young family (owners) are some of the nicest people around. I haven't ate three consecutive meals like that in my whole life. How can you bet a filet mignon burger for lunch and the awesome buffet on Sunday with fresh vegetables and herbs from farm, and homemade ice cream. Oh yeah they also have a disc golf course there. The course is really fun and challenging with nice elevation changes. Got to play a few with Hurley, Plumber John and Wil (owner) and talked about the future vision for the coampground and course. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a fun weekend. I plan on taking a crew from Hickraw the weekend of aug 22nd if anyone is interested come on up. Oh yeah new unofficial course rec. is -6. How can you pass this up with Hurley and Plumber John as Host.
If anyone wants to go let me know
