there are 9 brand new holes being added. The baskets are allready in and the tee pads will be added over the next year.It appears the holes will be plenty long enough, very wooded and just as challenging as the rest of the course.

Today I got a chance to play all 18 holes at THE STUMP. This course has come a very long way since the original 9,there are short and long tees for every hole, steps have been added to help the hikeing, and a few pins have been moved for the better. The course played as a par 63 at almost 7,000 feet long.I was informed it is still a work in progress but this course is getting better every day.Given a bit more time this will be another GREAT North Carolina disc golf course. Big ups to Mark and Stan and all the other mooresville and charlotte guys for all the hard work.

I am Mark of Stumpy Creek... The course is shaping up good and there won't be any major changes for a while. I may add another 400-600 feet (to 8000) with longer pads when they get poured. After we get done building 2 new courses in Northern Charlotte I will probably go back and make some minor changes and add 900 ft to the course to make the longs rival Renny Gold in distance. Currently, IMO, Stumpy is the second hardest course in Charlotte from the longs. Thanks to the people from Hickory that I have met for coming down and playing the course. Please, if you play and like it leave me a review at discgolfcoursereview.com. We need to flood out the reviews from when it was 9 holes.
